Apr 13, 2010 …. Upland Bird Hunting w/ Eagle Mountain My Dad and I wanted to bird hunt in Maine for many years and finally got the chance. We met up with Matt one day for an incredible hunt, killing our limit of Woodcock. Matt was an incredible guide with fantastic dogs. Growing up in the South quail hunting, we were no strangers to great hunting. The scenery was incredible, but the hunting was even better. Perfect dogs and a great handler. I would recommend Matt to anyone. We left with some great memories as well as a new found friend. Can't wait to go again!

My wife and I loved Matt and his guide service! Matt was kind, courteous and informative and better yet was able to find the fish in the cold of late October! We were in Maine on vacation and Matt was the only guide willing to take us out on such short notice. We highly recommend his services any time of the year!
Bear hunt in 2009: We had a five person hunt in 2009. We got three bears and saw lots more. We hope to make a hunt this year. Matt can really put you on the bear, but not beat Lisa at cooking.
