Powered by a reliable 40 HP Yamaha outboard, this comfortable and easy-to-operate pontoon is perfect for family outings, fishing adventures, wildlife viewing, swimming, or simply enjoying a relaxing day on the lake with friends. The boat comfortably accommodates up to 6–8 passengers and comes equipped with a Bimini top for shade, a fish finder to help locate fish and navigate unfamiliar waters, and a built-in boarding ladder for easy swimming and reboarding. The pontoon is primarily located on Beech Hill Pond, offering convenient access to one of Downeast Maine's most scenic lakes. Delivery to other nearby lakes may be available upon request and is included with your rental, subject to location and launch accessibility. Each rental includes required safety equipment and a clean, professionally maintained vessel ready for a memorable day on the water. Daily and weekly rental options are available, making it easy to fit your boating adventure into any vacation schedule. Whether you're casting a line, exploring the shoreline, or spending quality time with family and friends, our Sweetwater pontoon provides a comfortable and enjoyable way to experience Maine's outdoors.
Cancellation Policy
Rental Use Policy Thank you for choosing us for your boating adventure! To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review the following rental policies: Eligibility & Experience * Renters and operators must be *at least 25 years of age*. * All operators must have *previous boating experience* and be comfortable safely operating the rental vessel. * Only individuals listed on the rental agreement are permitted to operate the boat. Rental Fees & Equipment * Rental rates do not include **applicable taxes, fuel, lost or damaged items, or delivery fees** (when applicable). * All rentals include required safety equipment and standard accessories. * Guests requiring **undersized or oversized personal flotation devices (PFDs)** must provide their own properly fitted life jackets. Boat Use & Safety * Renters are responsible for complying with all federal, state, and local boating laws and regulations. * Operation of the boat while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substance is strictly prohibited. * Pets are not permitted on rental boats. * Smoking is strictly prohibited on all rental boats. * The renter may not sublease, loan, or allow unauthorized individuals to operate the vessel. Storage & Security * Renters are responsible for providing a safe and secure location for the boat during the rental period. * When unattended, the boat must be properly secured to prevent theft, vandalism, damage, or unauthorized use. * The renter assumes responsibility for the vessel and all included equipment from the time of delivery until pickup. Delivery & Return * Rental boats are delivered by **8:00 AM** and picked up at **4:00 PM** at the public boat launch designated on the request form, unless other arrangements have been made in advance. * Boats must be returned **clean and with a full tank of fuel**, unless otherwise agreed upon. * An additional **$100 cleaning fee** will be charged for excessive dirt, sand, trash, pet hair, or other unusual cleaning requirements. * Late returns will be charged **$75 per hour**, with a **one-hour minimum charge**. Damage Responsibility The renter is responsible for 100% of any loss of or damage to the boat, motor, propeller, equipment, accessories, or any third-party property occurring during the rental period, regardless of fault. The renter agrees to pay for repairs, replacement costs, recovery expenses, towing charges, loss of use, and any related fees resulting from damage, misuse
