

Downeast Maine's Wilderness Lodge
The Wilderness Lodge offers 7 double and 3 single rooms, each with a private bathroom. With its huge field stone fireplace in the main room, you will enjoy a relaxed “old time” country lodge atmosphere and private, comfortable rooms. We are off the electrical grid and run by generator power only, The Lodge provides a unique change for sportsmen and outdoor enthusiasts. We are located in the heart of down east Maine, just 35 miles from the Canadian border. Eagle Mountain's Wilderness Lodge is an ideal base for all your recreational activities. Located just 2 miles from the Machias River, with numerous lakes, rivers, and streams in the area and at the gateway to the Downeast Lakes Land Trust preserve.
Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy paddling, fishing, hunting, hiking, photography, bird watching, swimming, ATV trails, and much more. Canada, Eastport (the most most Easterly point in the United States), Quoddy Head Lighthouse, Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Roque Bluffs State Park and world famous Grand Lake Stream are easy day trips from the lodge.
