The shoreline ice is disappearing fast and some big open spots out in the middle. I'll soon be casting from the dock to see if I can't land a Salmon or 2 cruising the shoreline .

The freshwater smelts should be staging about now up for their annual spring spawning run.

The cover will probably come off the boat today and the rigging process will begin after a good pressure washing. I Will be putting her in the water just as soon as the ice is all gone.

Book your Downeast Maine, guided freshwater trip and be get in on the early Salmon and Lake Trout action.

Give us a call or shoot an email.
